New York based designer, Jenny Yoo has been an innovator in the Bridal and Bridesmaids industry for nearly two decades. Launching her first bridesmaid collection in November 2002, Jenny’s clear vision and motivation had led the way in redefining today’s bridal party and driven her company’s rapid success.

Jenny believes that while weddings are a tradition, rules can and need to be modified. Her modern, yet elegant, designs emphasise her philosophy that one must evolve with the footsteps of today’s changing times.

THE BABES WHO WEAR IT
Jenny designs forthe discriminating bride and bridesmaid who are looking for a dresses that can be worn not only for the wedding, but again and again for any special occasion. With a fresh take on modern silhouettes, playful patterns, and charming textures, the Jenny Yoo Collection introduces captivating lines in classic fabrications that are every bit runway ready as they are romantic.

All about modern femininity, each gown is tailored to perfection with soft layers of luxe chiffon and silk crepe to create a rich mixture of textures. With an unparalleled array of sizes and beautiful colours the goal is to give a personalised experience and beautiful quality dress that she can carry with her for years to come.

ETHICS + SUSTAINABILITY
All gowns are designed in the Jenny Yoo corporate office in New York then manufactured in their own factories in China and India. All the factories are certified and passed the Workplace Conditions Assessment (WCA) which is a social compliance audit aligned with industry standards and best practices to improve working conditions in supply chain. The WCA ensures no child labor is ever used. The design team personally visits their factories every year and work hand in hand with them ensuring quality in every aspect of the manufacturing process.

To maintain fabric sustainability domestically they have partnered with Fabscrap to recycle and repurpose unused fabrics. They also donate other fabrics and trims to The Fashion Class, a New York based Fashion Design school for youth who visit their studios yearly as part of educating the next generation of fashion professionals.

Jenny Yoo is continuously finding ways to improve the process and become more sustainable. From consolidating shipments to cut down on CO2 omissions, to reducing packaging and establishing more localised sourcing. They feel every step towards sustainability, is one in the right direction.
